An der Rollbergstraße in Neukölln wurden in der Nacht zu Donnerstag zwei Gruppenwagen der Polizei angezündet.
Berlin. In der Nacht zum Donnerstag sind zwei Polizeiautos in Neukölln angezündet worden. Das Feuer an den Einsatzwagen wurde gegen kurz nach drei Uhr vor dem Dienstgebäude des Abschnitt 55 an der Ecke Rollberg- und Hans-Schiftan-Straße bemerkt, wie eine Sprecherin der Berliner Polizei am Morgen bestätigte. Ob die beiden Gruppenwagen dem Abschnitt zuzuordnen sind, sei allerdings noch unklar. „Wir gehen aber von vorsätzlicher Brandstiftung aus“, so die Sprecherin.
Zunächst sollen Polizisten versucht haben, die Flammen zu löschen. Erst als die alarmierte Feuerwehr eintraf, wurde der Brand vollständig erstickt. 16 Feuerwehrleute waren im Einsatz, konnte jedoch nicht verhindern, dass die Wagen komplett ausbrannten. Da eine politisch motivierte Tat vermutet wird, hat der Staatsschutz des Landeskriminalamts die Ermittlungen übernommen.
DPolG: Feiger Angriff auf Handlungsfähigkeit der Polizei
„Wir können diesen unglaublichen Hass nicht nachvollziehen und sind schockiert über diese Tat“, hieß es von der Gewerkschaft der Polizei (GdP) Berlin. „Wer Fahrzeuge in direkter Gebäudenähe anzündet, nimmt zusätzlich zum Sachschaden auch schwerste Verletzungen von Menschen in Kauf.“
Die Deutsche Polizeigewerkschaft (DPolG) wertete die Anschlag als „feigen Angriff auf die Handlungsfähigkeit der Polizei Berlin“. Er gefährde „die Sicherheit und Menschenleben in lebensbedrohlichen Situationen“.
